about
Foscor are from Barcelona, and anyone who knows anything about that beautiful city, knows they're proud of their history and language. And so is Foscor, who are maybe the only metalband in history that sing in Catalan? Well, there are probably a few more, but Foscor isn't only special because of the language: they're unique because they sound like noone else. Dreamy and melancholic, and very imaginative. It's heavy, progressive metal with flourishes of black and post-metal, as fragile as it is evocative. 'Estrènyer l'Ànima' is a cover of their own song, 'To Strangle a Ghost' (2014), which only appeared on the 15th anniversary 8" limited ep edition by Catalan label Negra Nit (only 30 copies!). It wasn't available digitally until now!

Lyrics:
sense veu, l’espectre atia flames
hi ha un clam i és ben encès
Cruel, punyent
foscor i delit, estrènye’l fort omple el pit
fa viure grans moments
